Anna Sew Hoy Exhibition

Karyn Lovegrove Gallery is pleased to announce Anna Sew Hoy's participation in the 2008 California Biennial at the Orange County Museum of Art, curated by Lauri Firstenberg. The exhibition runs from October 26 - March 15. California Biennial at OCMA On Sunday, October 26, the museum will host a performance in Sew Hoy's installation, Irma Vep's Room, featuring dancer Flora Wiegmann, musician Giles Miller and videographer/performance artist K8 Hardy. Incorporating the blobs and lines of the sculptural installation, the performance takes its theme from the mysterious character Irma Vep. The performance begins at 3pm. As a satellite to the California Biennial, Sew Hoy's work can also be seen at the UC Santa Barbara University Art Museum alongside the work of Shana Lutker and Brenna Youngblood. The show runs from October 29 - March 1. USCB University Art Museum
